INT. HALLIWELL / COOP MANOR – PRUE’S BEDROOM – NIGHT – 2014 (FLASHBACK)ON – 7 years old Prue, asleep in her bed. She seems like she’s having nightmares. She moans like she’s suffering.
OFF TO THE ENTRANCE – The door opens and Phoebe, wearing a night dress, comes in with a glass of milk.
Phoebe walks quickly towards her daughters’ bed and puts the glass on the bedside table. Then she tries to wake her up.
PHOEBE
Prue?
Phoebe is kindly trying to wake her up.
PHOEBE (CONT'D)
Ladybug?
Suddenly, Prue gets into a sitting position. Her eyes wide open. She's all sweaty. Prue sits beside her and tries to calm her down.
PHOEBE (CONT'D)
It’s okay, Ladybug. It was just a nightmare.
Phoebe hugs her daughter fondly. Prue starts calming down.
PRUE
It happened again, mummy.
PHOEBE
It’s okay, you are okay now.
PRUE
I was alone, mum, and there was this dark smoke around me. And I heard it. It was calling my name.
Prue looks at her mother.
PRUE (CONT'D)
It was the Woogyman. I’m sure.
PHOEBE
The Woogyman can’t hurt you, sweetie. Mummy and the aunts got rid of it.
PRUE
No, mummy, it is still out there.
Phoebe takes the glass of milk and hands it to Prue. Phoebe caresses her daughter’s hair kindly. Prue has a sip of milk.
PHOEBE
You don’t have to be afraid of the Woogyman, Ladybug. Remember who you are.
PRUE
I am Prue Halliwell.
PHOEBE
Exactly. And there’s not evil that can get to any Prue Halliwell. You are stronger than anything in this world. Don’t ever forget that.
Prue looks at Phoebe.
PRUE
But what if the Woogyman gets to me. He wants me, mummy, I can feel it.
PHOEBE
You are stronger than that, Prue.
Phoebe takes her daughter’s face between her hands.
PHOEBE (CONT'D)
Look, honey, you are light. There’s not evil in this world that can get to you and change you.
PRUE
I’m afraid, mummy.
Phoebe takes a deep breath.
PHOEBE
Repeat after me. I am light, I am made of light.
PRUE
I am light, I am made of light.
PHOEBE
Whenever you feel like evil is getting to you, remember this and repeat it to yourself, okay.
PRUE
I am light, I am made of light.
Phoebe smiles.
PHOEBE
Good girl.
Phoebe smiles. Prue hands her mother the glass of milk. Phoebe puts it the bedside table. Then Phoebe helps Prue to lay down.
PRUE
I am light, I am made of light.
Phoebe covers Prue with the blankets and kisses her head fondly.
PRUE (CONT'D)
I am light, I am made of light.
Prue closes her eyes while Phoebe caresses her daughter’s hair.
CUT TO:
INT. HALLIWELL / COOP MANOR – 1ST FLOOR CORRIDOR – NIGHT – SHORTLY AFTER - 2014 (FLASHBACK)Coop is leaning against the wall. Phoebe comes out from Prue’s bedroom. He looks at Phoebe.
COOP
Another nightmare?
Phoebe nods.
COOP (CONT'D)
Why is she having those nightmares?
PHOEBE
I don’t know. It’s always about the Woogyman.
COOP
Does it mean that maybe we should be careful? You know, as she has these premonitions in the form of dreams.
PHOEBE
I don’t know. Prue is very sensitive. But I’ve taught her a spell to cast when she has this kind of dreams.
COOP
To put her to sleep?
PHOEBE
No, honey. To make her feel that she has no reasons to doubt the light inside of her.
Coop smiles and approaches her. He kisses her fondly.
COOP
You are a wonderful mother, are you aware of that?
PHOEBE
You don’t let me forget.
Both Phoebe and Coop smile. Coop puts an arm over Phoebe’s shoulder and both walk into their bedroom.
CUT TO:
EXT. HALLIWELL MANOR – NIGHT – PRESENT DAYSTOCK.
CUT TO:
INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - CONSERVATORY ROOM - NIGHTCONTINUATION FROM EPISODE 4X16.
Prue and Jo stare at each other. Jo is very upset. Prue is also very upset.
JO
You took everything from me, Prue. My family ---
JO (CONT'D)
--- My mother.
Tears start running down Jo’s face. Melinda, holding baby Christina in her arms, stands and looks at Jo. Melinda walks out of there taking the baby.
JO (CONT'D)
I hate you because you were never there.
(crying hard)
You were never there at any of my first things.
ON PRUE - She swallows again. Deep down, she knows.
JO (CONT'D)
You were never there when I walked for the first time or when I said my first word.
(cries harder)
You were never there for my first day of school or when I felt in love for the first time. You weren’t there when I most needed you.
(swallows)
You took my mother from me. You killed her the day you were born. And not happy with that you also killed the only person who was able to fulfill that void.
ON PRUE - Her eyes are red, like thousands of tears want to come out.
PRUE
Who ---
She’s afraid to ask.
PRUE (CONT'D)
Who are you?
Jo cries harder.
PRUE (CONT'D)
(out loud)
WHAT’S YOUR NAME, DAMMIT?!
Jo cries.
PRUE (CONT'D)
Who are you?
Jo swallows and stares strong at Prue.
JO
My name is Prudence ---
Prue takes her hand to her chest.
JO (CONT'D)
--- Christina ---
A tear runs down Prue’s face.
JO (CONT'D)
--- Johanna Halliwell.
PRUE
No.
ON PRUE’S FACE - Her expression is all confusion and sadness.
PRUE (CONT'D)
(out loud)
No!
ON PRUE’S FACE – An expression of despair is clear in her face.
PRUE (CONT'D)
It can’t be.
Prue seems disturbed. She gives her back on Jo while Jo stares at her. And suddenly, ---
Prue starts feeling such a pain in her head. She takes her hands to her temples and holds them.
Jo looks at her confused.
Prue cries out in pain.
JO
Prue?
ON PRUE’S FACE - An expression full of pain as she is taken into an ASTRAL PREMONITION.
FLASHES TO:
EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - STREET - UNKNOWN TIME OF THE DAY AND YEAR (INSIDE PRUE’S PREMONITION)Prue stands in the middle of the way holding her temples as her head hurts a lot.
SOUND - EXPLOTIONS.
Prue looks up and sees some buildings blowing up.
Everything vanishes and she’s transported to another scenario.
CUT TO:
EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - STREET - UNKNOWN TIME OF THE DAY AND YEAR (INSIDE PRUE’S PREMONITION)This time, the street is full of people. Looks like these people are attending to some assembly that is being held in the middle of the street.
Prue is in the middle of the crowd, still holding her temples. She looks around. No one seems to notice her.
Far away, a male voice can be heard.
MAN’S VOICE
Dead is what comes for those who would not submit to us, your new rulers.
Prue looks around trying to find where the voice comes from, but it’s all fuzzy.
And it all starts to vanish again.
CUT TO:
EXT. SAN FRANCISCO - STREET - UNKNOWN TIME OF THE DAY AND YEAR (INSIDE PRUE’S PREMONITION)Prue is in the middle of a different street. This time, some demoniac guards wearing black suits march ahead. They don’t have weapons but look truly scary.
Other people deviate to let them walk through. Those people seem normal.
Prue looks at them as her head screams with pain. She is so confused.
People lower their glances as the demoniac guards walk through.
YOUNG MAN (O. S.)
We will not submit.
Prue turns around and sees a man holding a poster. It reads:
‘EVIL CAN’T WIN’
Prue sees as one of the demonic guards walks towards the men and hits him with a FIREBALL. The man cries in pain. Prue is horrified.PRUE
No!
Everything vanishes again.
CUT TO:
EXT. SAN FRANCISCO – ALLEY – UNKNOWN TIME OF THE DAY AND YEAR (INSIDE PRUE’S PREMONITION)This vision is even fuzzier. Prue keeps holding her temples. She sees a blonde woman being hit with a big ball of fire and falling down the ground.
Another woman is next to her.
SOUND - LOUD CRYING.
Prue tries to walk towards them to have a better look. She can hear the cries, the pain in their cries.
Prue finally reaches them and has a look at the woman on the floor.
ON WOMAN ON THE FLOOR - It’s Melinda.
Prue is horrified.
PRUE
Mel?
And confused. The other woman turns to her. It’s Jo.
PRUE (CONT'D)
Jo?
Jo looks at someone in the direction where Prue is.
JO
You killed her.
Prue doesn’t understand. She turns around, but her vision is too fuzzy. She can’t see anyone there. The pain gets more intense.
CUT TO:
INT. PRESCOTT MANOR - THRONE ROOM - UNKNOWN TIME OF THE DAY AND YEAR (INSIDE PRUE’S PREMONITION)ON PRUE’S EYES - They pop open.
The pain is still intense. She looks around. It’s empty. No one there.
Prue looks at the two throne chairs at the bottom of the room. Slowly her glare raises up until it reaches the painting in the top.
It gets fuzzy. She can’t have a good look at it as the pain makes Prue cry out loud. She tries to look up once again and ---
The vision gets clear.
ON THE PAINTING - A couple she knows very well. She knows it is Wyatt and herself.
PRUE
(confused)
What?!
MELINDA (O.S.)
(calling)
Prue!
Everything gets fuzzy again and ---
FLASHES BACK TO:
INT. HALLIWELL MANOR - CONSERVATORY ROOM - NIGHTON PRUE’S EYES - They pop open.
Prue gets back from the ASTRAL PREMONITION. She is on her knees. The pain stops. Melinda is on her knees in from of her.
MELINDA
That was a hell of a premonition, wasn’t it?
PRUE
That was literally a hell of a premonition indeed.
Jo stands there with her eyes wide open. Confused about what happened. Her face is red. Prue turns to Jo.
PRUE (CONT'D)
I saw your future.
Melinda helps Prue to stand.
PRUE (CONT'D)
It’s bad.
A tear runs down Jo’s face. Prue’s eyes start getting wet.
OFF TO - Wyatt ORBS in the middle of the room as Damon SHIMMERS in.
Wyatt spots Prue right away. He rushes to her.
WYATT
Where have you been? I’ve been crazy looking out for you.
Wyatt notices the disturbed look on Prue’s face. Prue keeps staring at Jo.
WYATT (CONT'D)
What’s wrong?
Wyatt follows Prue’s glance and looks at Jo. Both Prue and Jo keep looking at each other. His expression hardens.
WYATT (CONT'D)
(to Jo)
What did you do to her?
Jo looks at Wyatt and starts stuttering.
JO
I --- I---
WYATT
I asked you not to bother her.
Wyatt starts getting mad.
WYATT (CONT'D)
Why do you keep upsetting Prue? What the hell is wrong with you?
PRUE
Wyatt ---
Wyatt keeps lecturing Jo.
WYATT
You should better leave and not get any closer to us.
PRUE
Wyatt ---
WYATT
You’ve done nothing to change anything. All you do is upsetting my wife.
PRUE
(out loud)
WYATT!
Wyatt turns to Prue. Tears leave her eyes as she cannot hold them inside.
PRUE (CONT'D)
She’s your ---
(swallows)
--- She’s our daughter.
ON WYATT - He is astonished.
WYATT
What?
Melinda and Damon exchange glances.
PRUE
She’s our daughter.
Wyatt turns to Jo. He is astonished. Jo can hold the tears inside her eyes. She lowers her glance. Wyatt keeps staring at her. Then Jo raises up her glance and stares at Wyatt.
JO
Dad ---
ON WYATT - He is disturbed.
CUT TO BLACK.
